Finding the Right Words by Cindy Weinstein and Dr. Bruce Miller. Literary critic Cindy Weinstein reflects upon her father’s experience with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease and writes in conversation with neurologist Dr. Bruce Miller.

Ibasho. Ibasho empowers older people to create meaningful activities, a sense of purpose, and multigenerational relationships in their communities. Founded by Emi Kiyota.

MISCI (Multimodal Intergenerational Social Contact Intervention). A risk reduction strategy to address loneliness and social isolation by matching older people with local adolescents and young adults. Founded by Phaedra Bell.

Moving Body–Moving Image. A ScreenDance Film Festival focused on giving voice to societal and social justice themes. Founded by Gabri Christa.

My Brain Robbie. A video to promote a better understanding of brain health in children from 6-12 years old. Created by Eleonore Bayen.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: Alzheimer’s Disease and Healthy Aging Program. Evidence-based, scientific information to educate, inform, and assist translating research into public health practice.

Dick Johnson is Dead. In this documentary Kirsten Johnson uses humor and imaginative storytelling to help her father, who has Alzheimer’s, prepare for the end of his life.

“Endless Spoonful.” An essay about a mother and daughter, both writers, who must find a new way to communicate in the land of memory loss. By Susie Hara.

Enrichment Center at the Presidio Adult Day Program. A program that provides much needed physical and mental stimulation for individuals living with dementia, as well as respite time for caregivers.

Family Caregiver Alliance. Information, support and resources related to family caregiving.

Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI). GBHI is dedicated to protecting the world’s aging populations from threats to brain health.

Hear/Say. Through the oral history process, these story collections reduce stigma and othering. A collaboration of the Memory and Aging Center (MAC) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and Voice of Witness.
